This is a magical story based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault about Princess Aurora, who was predicted by the evil fairy Carabosse, in revenge for being forgotten to be invited to her christening, that on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora would prick herself with a spindle and die. But the kind Lilac Fairy softens the prediction - Aurora will only fall asleep for 100 years, and will be awakened by the kiss of a handsome prince, who will become her husband.

For almost half a century, the audience, with bated breath, empathizes with the heroes of this fairy-tale story, enjoying the brilliant music and virtuoso choreography.
