The Nutcracker ballet occupies a special place in the repertoire of the famous Russian Ballet Theater.

The performance is very popular - not a single Christmas and New Year celebration is complete without the heroes of this amazing and wise fairy tale, which both adults and children love. This is a story about the birth of first love and the discovery of a huge world of experiences and feelings. The audience is delighted by the courage of the Nutcracker Prince, who defeated the army of the treacherous Myshilda, the kindness and courage of little Masha, who saw a noble and fearless Prince in the wooden Nutcracker doll, and, of course, the fairy-tale world of New Year's miracles and transformations.

The historical premiere of the ballet «The Nutcracker» took place in 1892 on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. The libretto, created by Marius Petipa based on Hoffmann's fairy tale «The Nutcracker and the Mouse King», has undergone different interpretations over time, but in all editions and productions, good defeated evil, and love triumphed. Sleeping Beauty

The ballet «Sleeping Beauty» to the music of the brilliant Russian composer P. I. Tchaikovsky is considered an encyclopedia of classical dance. This is a magical story based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault about Princess Aurora, who was predicted by the evil fairy Carabosse, in revenge for being forgotten to be invited to her christening, that on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora would prick herself with a spindle and die. But the kind Lilac Fairy softens the prediction - Aurora will only fall asleep for 100 years, and will be awakened by the kiss of a handsome prince, who will become her husband.

For almost half a century, the audience, with bated breath, empathizes with the heroes of this fairy-tale story, enjoying the brilliant music and virtuoso choreography.

The Cinderella

Charles Perrault's wise, magical fairy tale «Cinderella» inspired composers of different times. It was «Cinderella» - «Cendrillona» to the music of the composer F. Sora that opened the Moscow Bolshoi Theater on June 6, 1825.

The ballet «Cinderella», staged by choreographer R. Zakharov to the music of S. Prokofiev, was staged at the Bolshoi Theater in 1945. A year later, the premiere took place on the stage of the Kirov Theater (choreographer K. Sergeev). They just began the stage chronicle of «Cinderella» of our time.

Snow White

The ballet «Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs» was created based on the fairy tale of the same name by the Brothers Grim, but in style it resembles a Disney cartoon and is set to the musical motifs of the Polish composer Bogdan Pavlovsky.

Therefore, we stage performances with the participation of young artists from 3-4 years old, they perform on the big stage together with the troupe and gain invaluable experience of immersing themselves in the huge fabulous world of ballet.
